about us

image0[716].jpeg

Lavonia Crest used to be farmland that tobacco, squash, and Christmas trees was once grown on. This property would eventually be get turned into a housing development in the year 2007. After surveying the land, construction began on a new road and draining the swamps. Little by little, houses were built and the stone chimneys began to rise.  A small pavilion was built for the residents and was designed to seat just 20 people. Little did we know it wouldn’t be big enough. A local neighbor asked if she could get married here, and a whole new concept began to take place.  More and more people started to become interested in getting married here and the development of a wedding venue was taking shape. Now Lavonia Crest can accommodate up to 300+ people for events.
